“Unholy Women” is an omnibus film—three stories by three directors. Each tells the horrific tale of a woman, who for one reason or another, becomes very very scary.

Rattle Rattle (Kata Kata)

Written and directed by Amemiya Keita.

One day, Kanako hears a rattling sound in front of the red building while walking back to her house. The moment she looks, something from above hits her very hard. She loses consciousness and wakes up dazed—but unhurt. As soon as she arrives home, she starts seeing a horribly deformed woman with supernatural powers.

Steel (Hagane)

Directed and co-written by Suzuki Takuji.

Can Sekiguchi's loveless life and boring job be any more depressing? Things are soon looking up when his boss shows him a picture of his beautiful sister and asks Sekiguchi to take her out on a date.

The Inheritance (Uketsugumono)

Directed by Toyoshima Keisuke under the supervision of Shimizu Takashi (who created “The Grudge” and all its remakes and sequels).

After her divorce, Saeko decides to leave the busy city with her little son Michio to stay with her mother. Michio instantly feels uneasy about their new life with his bedridden grandma, but things get much worse after the boy notices his mother staring at a wooden chest in a shed out back.
