If the myriad traumas of daily life in the big city get to be too much, and it seems that only blood-curdling screams will ease your mind, then The Hole in the Head film festival is just what the (mad) doctor ordered. Shiver with delight as we unearth the finest in contemporary horror, horror-comedy and dark fantasy from America and abroad.

So go ahead…cringe at the creepiest creatures you can drive a stake through, shoot with a silver bullet or run from in abject terror. Just keep repeating: San Francisco needs a(nother) film festival like a hole in the head.

This year in a day for night play sfindie will present the best in indie animation days while saving the nights for the dark side. Stay tuned for more information. Most programs will be suitable for teen and adults audiences.
