"Outrageously funny, Steve Anderson's documentary Fuck goes far beyond its profane title to tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the world's favorite epithet."
– Twitch

"The only thing clear is that this movie will have a cult following, the size of which may depend on whether it can be advertised anywhere."
– Variety

This challenging and provocative documentary takes a look at all sides of fuck. The word is taboo, obscene and controversial, yet somehow seems to permeate every single aspect of our culture – from Hollywood... to the schoolyard to the Senate floor in Washington D.C.. What is it about 'FUCK'?

Anderson explores our relationship with the four letter word, calling into play our constitutional right to Free Speech and its evolution from taboo to acceptable. From Billy Connolly to Pat Boone, Hunter S. Thompson to Ice T, Fuck features dozens of interviews with actors, linguists, comedians, news commentators, politicians, scholars and people on the street, interspersed with clips from television and film appearances and animation from IndieFest regular Bill Plympton.

Scholars and linguists will examine the long history of fuck. We'll hear from advocates who oppose fuck. We'll watch some of the most famous and infamous film and television clips that feature fuck, and we'll hear some of the most famous fucks ever uttered. An immensely entertaining and fascinating exploration of one of the most controversial words in the English language.
