Ray Dennis Steckler
1965, USA, 70 minutes

“Considered by many to be Ray’s best movie. The riveting, nail biting story of a psycho killer Mad Dog Click, (played to the hilt by Ray) who kills to satisfy his perverse hatred towards all people…. An excellent, low budget, black and white shocker.”
- V. Vale: Re/Search

Ray Dennis Steckler gathered a sizable cult through the years for directing films like The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Become Mixed-Up Zombies, but he never bettered The Thrill Killers (aka The Maniacs are Loose).

Joe is trying to get his big break as an actor in Hollywood, but his wife Liz is becoming increasingly unhappy at the mounting bills. Meanwhile Mad Dog is traveling through Los Angeles beating women and shooting people to take their vehicles. Liz makes the decision to leave Joe and leaves to visit her cousin and she falls into the clutches of Mad Dog and three murderous escaped lunatics.
