“An impressive achievement. Smart and tense.” - Wired
Humanity is going extinct after nuclear fallout renders humans infertile. Chancellor Derek Strombourgh must find one person whose genetic structure can bring life to thousands of dormant clones.
Francis Ford Coppola is rumored to have remarked: “Some little fat girl in Ohio is going to be the new Mozart and make a beautiful film with her father’s camcorder.” It turns out the girl in question is actually Jason J. Tomaric (who purchased his own camcorder).
CL.one was produced, written, directed and edited by a 24 year-old Cleveland filmmaker in his basement with a total budget of $25,000. This astounding science fiction film has 3,000 costumed extras, 650 digital effects and 48 locations (including NASA, a Cathedral and a nuclear plant), and should be required viewing for all aspiring indie filmmakers, writers and techno-geeks. Check it out.
