“I think All Souls Day can best be described as part Roman Polanski thriller, part Douglas Sirk melodrama, part John Sturges western and part George Romero horror film… with zombies,” - producer/writer Mark Altman

On the day after Halloween a young couple find themselves stranded in a remote Mexican town where the unfortunate townspeople are forced to pay homage to the Aztec Goddess of Death, and undead creatures stalk the streets. Bloody mayhem ensues.

The fledgling release from CFQ (Cinefantastique) Films is a stylish, imaginative and hugely entertaining horror comedy. You can’t go wrong with ancient curses, monsters, ritual sacrifices, creepy villagers, evil gringos, vengeful ghosts, humor, bizarre behavior, black magic, a generous splattering of gore and gruesomeness, and a great supporting cast of seasoned genre veterans, including Danny Trejo (From Dusk til Dawn), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator) and David Keith (White of the Eye).
