Part thriller and part mystery, Diameter of the Bomb follows Israeli police, secret service, and military as they unsuccessfully try to prevent and then mercilessly track down the terrorist cell behind a 2002 suicide bombing. Diameter features forensic footage released for the first time by the Israeli army, Hamas military video and the bomber’s home movies, as well as stunning footage shot across Israel and the Palestinian territories. With unprecedented access, the filmmakers took their cameras inside Israeli prisons, commando units, Palestinian refugee camps and hospital trauma wards, capturing countless everyday situations on both sides of the border to follow the figurative diameter of the bomb and its trajectory of human suffering.
