Synopsis
LISTEN WITH PAIN covers
the 20-year history of the German avante garde band, with CAN
and KRAFTWERK, one of most important musical groups from Germany.
The film covers their origin, wall-time Berlin and the accompanying
punk movement, performances in the USA and Japan, and recent
interviews with the members. Comments from Stevo (their ex-boss
at the Some Bizarre label), and current collaborator Nick Cave
round out this portrait of EINSTUERZENDE NEUBAUTEN’s place
in the international music scene.

Synopsis

(Peter’s daughter) and Adria Petty (Tom’s daughter)
to produce this rock/rave music film. A young garbageman in
New York can’t deal with reality, so he builds himself
a family from trash.
