In addition to showing great films we are known for our rockin' parties. Our Opening Night Gala will feature complimentary food and drink, short film screenings, art by local artists and DJ sets from DJs Shane (Cloud Factory/DNA) and Amber (Sister SF/Epiphany/FnF). The party will run from 9p-2a and is included with an IndiePass, the all-fest pass, and with your ticket to the Opening Night film EVER SINCE THE WORLD ENDED by local filmmakers Calum Grant and Joshua Litle. You can also upgrade your tickets to the 5p SHORT FILM SAMPLER PLATER and the 9:30p screening of PARTY 7 to include a ticket to the party, so come down and join the many local and visiting filmmakers in attendance. 21 up only, please.

Our Friday Night After Party will directly follow the screening of SOUTHWEST 9, the latest film by the makers of HUMAN TRAFFIC. As the film is set in the Brixton rave scene in London, we're producing a rave of our own as the After Party at Studio Z (11th and Folsom). We're calling the party Dark City: The Dark Side of Techno, Trance, Drum and Bass. Featuring eight hot DJs from the SF rave community: Shane (Cloud Factory/Epiphany), Amber (Sister SF/Epiphany/FnF), Terrac (Cloud Factory), Sir Nod (Cloud Factory/FnF), Jawa (BurningChrome), Fernando (Assimilate), Ritter Gluck (Infinite Kaos/Code), and R3 ACH (A.R.M./FnF). Tickets to the party are $10, but you get in free with any ticket stub or pass from SF IndieFest. The party starts at 9p and goes till late. 21 up only, please.

Saturday Night we host an after party for WE SOLD OUR SOULS FOR ROCK N ROLL at the Werepad, 2430 Third Street. Frauline and the Gutterfags will be performing live and Howie Statland from NYC Smoke will open. Howie's got a film in the festival, too: his short LOW FLAME is one of the shorts playing with LISTEN WITH PAIN, the Einsturzende Neubauten doc. Visiting filmmaker Penelope Spheeris will be our guest of honor for this night at the Werepad. The Party starts at 9p and goes till late. Our big event Monday night February 4th is an after party for Einsturzende Neubauten: LISTEN WITH PAIN. Join some of the band's biggest fans at their regular hang out spot, Death Guild, at 699 Market Street. Your ticket stub or pass gets you in for $2. This event is 18up.

The San Francisco closing night party will take place at Studio Z on Thursday February 7. This is a free party open to everyone! Come down and celebrate independent film and alt culture with us. DJs tba. 21 up only, please.

Sunday the 3rd, Tuesday the 5th and Wenesday the 6th you'll be able to find filmmakers and filmlovers hanging out after the screenings at the Casanova Lounge, 527 Valencia at 16th, our official post screening neighborhood lounge...

The East Bay Closing Night Party and Awards Ceremony will take place at the Parkway Theater on Sunday February 10 after the last screening. All are welcome to attend!
