MODERN TRIBALISM
Mimi George & Rick Kent, 77min.

A collage of the subconscious that documents the growing movement to actively search for community and a revitalization of ritual through experimentation with some of humankind's oldest practices–piercing and tattooing, shamanism and effigy burning. It's an anthropological field trip into the modern world's primitive soul: a visual meditation on our need to scratch an ancient itch. Featuring interviews with author Tom Robbins, African medicine man Malidoma Somé, Vale co-founder of Re/Search, Burning Man founders Larry Harvey and Crimson Rose, as well as a visit to the advanced piercing workshop of Fakir Musafar, the godfather of the Modern Primitives. Ouch.

DID WE GO?
Aron Ranen, 58min.
Produced by Aron Ranen and Ben Britton

Aron Ranen, acclaimed cult documentarian leads us on a surprising (and often hilarious) journey across America as he searches for hard evidence to prove that Neil Armstrong landed on the moon in 1969. He's not just another conspiracy theorist making pseudo-docs for the Fox network, he set out to debunk the idea of the moon hoax. However, while attempting to verify the (alleged) Moon landing, he uncovered the KKK openly operating at the Kennedy Space Center, an Antarctic moon rock conspiracy, Nazi slave labor, a bus full of hippies, drunken Space Cowboys and much more. A mind-bending history lesson that will leave you with more questions than answers.
